O is for Obnoxious

Earth Element, Ray, is a jackass. Yeah, not all the good guys are, well–good. The Elements will need someone to move Heaven and Hell and they’ll need someone to move Earth too. Ray’s their guy–if they can stand him. But if they knew him well enough–which almost no one does–they’d know it was all a front.

The earth personality is grounded, rational, disciplined and logical, so of course, Ray fears the unknown and distrusts imagination and magic–including his own special abilities.  He demands loyalty from others and once he’s pledged his, he’s hard pressed to be swayed. So when the demons offer him what he most desperately wants, the Elements will have to hope he chooses the right side.

He exhibits good destructive–I mean deductive reasoning and although he strives to be objective, accommodating and responsible, his desire to get his way is often the source of his own undoing. He is goal-oriented and productive, but prefers to stay out of the limelight–which is sometimes because he’s up to no good.

The cards he plays close to his chest  give away his inner most secrets–that he worries obsessively and is plagued with self-doubt.  He wants to be all things to all people, but generally fails. He’s hardest on himself most of all.
