N is for Night

Demons, living elements, a club called the Hell Hole–yeah, a fair amount of this book takes place at night. But it’s not tied to the darkness–ha ha pun intended–there are times when our heroes see the light–ha ha, somebody stop me. πŸ™‚

But that said, as I’m using this blog challenge to flesh out my novel and make notes about what needs to be done–I’ve hit on an aspect that I need to pay more attention to. In my head, I know when it’s dark and when it’s light (I’m going to let that one go by), but on the page, I may not have taken the opportunity to ground the reader in “time.”

I may have gotten so involved in plot and dialogue that I’ve missed the chance to use imagery and poetic language which is actually my strongest ability.

N is also for, “note taken.”
