Myth Becomes Miracle and Monster Becomes Man

final-a-to-z-theme-reveal

The Great & Powerful Theme Reveal is here!

They thought they were myth, they turned out to be miracle.

Join me as I research character and hone plot in my new YA fantasy novel where Heaven and Hell struggle to gain control of a magical artifact with monumental power.

My discovery draft is written, but now it’s time to dig a bit deeper. New ideas, plot twists and exciting new characters have emerged and I need to go on a quest to find out what’s really going on in this epic battle between good, less than good, and downright evil.

I’ll be posting a mix of cool monsters, myths, and mysterious characters. There will be snippets from the book as well. It will be an A to Z journey toward putting some flesh on the bones of this novel and I hope you’ll give me your input and ideas along the way.

Join me on a monster hunt!

This sounds like it’s going to be a fun. Always great to watch people working on their stories and the story itself sounds like it’s going to be interesting.

Hi Amy – your blog was one of the first 5 blogs after mine in the list so really looking forward to reading you tomorrow… your theme sounds intriguing!

I love reading fantasy books and I’ve never read anything about how writers develop the book itself… looking forward to getting a peek!

I’m excited to see your writing process! What a great way to add all that depth and detail that may not explicitly come out in the book, but provides the substantive backdrop for everything that happens.

Good luck with the challenge; can’t wait to see the rest of your posts!
